Puddibear Privacy Policy

Llamaglow Limited, doing business as Puddibear, uses personal information to run this website, manage early-bird reservations, and send launch updates when you request them. This policy covers the website; future Puddibear devices and apps will have separate privacy information.

Information we collect

We collect the email address you submit for launch updates or payment, reservation and transaction details such as amount, currency, status and Stripe references, and information you send when contacting support. We also use limited cookies, browser storage, and basic technical data to operate and protect the website.

Stripe handles your card details. Puddibear does not receive or store your full card number or security code. The website signup and payment flows are for adults; children should not submit information here.

How we use and share it

We use your information to manage your US$20 credit and early-bird benefits, send receipts and redemption instructions, answer support requests, keep the website secure, and meet legal obligations. A payment does not by itself sign you up for marketing. We send launch marketing emails only when you separately request them, and you can unsubscribe anytime.

We use service providers including Stripe for payment, Cloudflare for website operations, and Mailchimp for requested launch emails. If you follow our Facebook group link, Meta handles information under its own policy. Providers may process data in other countries. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies, retention, and your choices

Essential cookies help connect your browser to a recent signup or reservation status. The signup association may last up to 24 hours and the reservation access cookie up to 30 days. Clearing them may remove a displayed status, but it does not delete transaction records.

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or for legal, tax, security, and dispute records. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy rights by emailing us. Some records may need to be retained by law.

Your US$1 reservation

The US$1 payment is a one-time reservation, not a device purchase or subscription. It provides US$20 toward an eligible device purchase during our official Kickstarter campaign and the early-bird benefits described in the Terms. It is non-refundable except as required by law. By purchasing, you accept the Terms and acknowledge this policy.

Interpretation and contact

To the extent permitted by law, Puddibear reserves the right of final interpretation of this policy. This does not limit any privacy rights you have under applicable law.
